PWHS STUDENTS: Volunteer at the PAC and get Port Pride Hours in return! Make sure to have yours signed off after completing a volunteer opportunity.
All volunteers are welcome to stay for the event they volunteer at for free!
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE...
USHER - Help patrons find their seats and answer any general knowledge questions. Hand out programs. Assist in any handicap and late seating.
TICKET SCANNER - Use a mobile device to scan tickets to shows and hand out programs.
STUDENT INTERNSHIPS
Students at PWHS are able to learn more about performing arts & event hospitality through a variety of internships available. After a training period, student interns are able to work shows with needed positions at an hourly-rate. Please email PAC Director, McKinley Uelmen (mckinley.uelmen@pwssd.k12.wi.us), to get involved!
STUDENT INTERNSHIPS INCLUDE...
LIGHTS & SOUND TECHNICIAN - Learn how to operate the lights and/or sound boards leading up to and during the events.
BOX OFFICE SELLER - Learn how to manage the ticketing system and take orders from patrons right before the event.
STAGE TECHNICIAN - Learn how to manage from behind the scenes and assist in any set pieces, stage items, and curtain operations.
MERCHANDISE ATTENDANT - Learn how to sell merchandise to patrons before, during, and after the event.
